Overview
Innis Arden belongs to the Greater Seattle Summer Swim League (GSSSL) and competes with other swim clubs in the area: Klahaya, Aqua Club, View Ridge, Sheridan Beach, Blue Ridge, Wedgwood, and Sand Point.
Per league rules, only members of the club may participate in swim team. Any member child who can swim one length of the pool may join (Contact the coaches for more info). Events are arranged by age group and eligibility extends through age 18. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn competitive swimming in a relaxed environment and to become friends with neighborhood kids of all ages.
Workouts are in the evening until school is out, and then on weekday mornings, scheduled by age group. There are 7 dual meets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, beginning in late June and continuing through July. Those who qualify can swim in the post-season meets held the last week of July and first week of August.
Team members receive ribbons after each event and there is an awards ceremony at the end of the season. There is a fee for team participation. An assortment of parties and events take place throughout the season in addition to the team competitions.

Winter Swim Team
- 4 total sessions
- Each Swim Season will end with some sort of event, meet, time trial.
- There are roughly the same amount of practices so we charge the same amount and have them available on Amilia for purchase at any point in the year.
- Season 1: September 12 - October 21
- Event: Halloween Meet October 30th
- Season 2: October 24th - December 16th (No Practice Thanksgiving weekend)
- Event: Working on this one … worried about the cold (I am thinking some sort of distance meet where 8 and unders race a 100, 9-12 Race a 500, 13 and up race a mile)
- Season 3: January 2nd - February 17th
- Event: Relay Meet
- Season 4: March 27th - April 21st
- Event: Spring Fling Meet (April 23rd or 30th?) Probably in May
- May: We will run some sort of clinics session/swim team program to gear our kids up for the summer.
Prices
- 10 and under: $175 per session
- 11 and over: $190 per session
