Working at IASC

Thank you for your interest in employment opportunities at Innis Arden Swimming Club, Inc.

IASC is a neighborhood seasonal outdoor swimming facility in Shoreline, Washington that has been in operation since 1959. The club has approximately 250 member families who live in the Innis Arden neighborhood or nearby.  It is a well-loved community meeting place and a hub of activity during the summer months. The pool is now open year round, and in addition to daily “open swim” time, IASC offers several programs, including: adult and youth swim team, youth water polo, water aerobics, water walking, and public swim lessons.

We hire several positions each year including, Cleaners, Lifeguards, Lesson Instructors, as well as Swim and Water Polo Coaches. If you are interested in applying for a position please submit a resume and a cover letter to:

Jordan Redford
manager@innisardenswimclub.com

Employment at IASC is competitive as there are a lot of people looking to join our staff and for the flexible schedule and rewarding work of being a leader in our community. In general, we only have openings for our junior lifeguard/cleaner position. Each year we have between two and five spots available at that position and it is the stepping stone to become a guard, instructor or coach at our pool. Applicants will be screened based on their resume, letter of intent, and interview. Hiring for the season begins in February and we hire for all positions in the beginning of March.

If you have any questions about employment at Innis Arden, please contact Jordan Redford at manager@innisardenswimclub.com
